The BBC have reported this week that a player has sold his WoW account for £5,000 in a confirmed sale ($10,000). The article states the project is analyzing all extremist and terrorist content from the web but this doesn’t appear to include virtual worlds. I would imagine other tools would have to be developed to examine virtual worlds in the same way.
